Calling all Young People – SelseyWorks can offer you support in finding the right Training or help you with your Next Steps after leaving school.

Young people often struggle to decide what they want to do after leaving school; but there are plenty of option out there to suit your individual needs and interests.

Maybe you’re looking to re-train, or perhaps you’ve been unemployed for some time and want to refresh your skills. Perhaps school wasn’t for you and now you’re looking for a way back into adult education.  Whatever your situation the team at SelseyWorks can help you find a course to suit you.

West Sussex has a range of educational establishments with courses at varying levels:

Apprenticeships offer a world of opportunity for young people and many don’t require you to attend college; often they are purely work based and enable you to learn whilst you earn.

Life can throw up all kinds of issues bringing on stress and anxiety; but there are lots of ways to help keep you on track!

  • Youth Emotional Support provide a range of support, online, on the phone or in person.
  • Reading Well have some great support for young people aged 13-18 facing emotional problems. Check out the Shelf Help Booklist for books that can support teenagers with feelings like stress, anxiety, and depression.
