We are looking for a Data Steward with experience in designing and developing data management systems, to join our specialist Practice Systems Team in Chichester.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Practice Systems Team and to work with a wide group of stakeholders primarily with regard to Children’s Social Care and the Mosaic recording system. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of the data quality strategy and play a vital part in its implementation.
You will create and analyse reports and provide solution based approaches to resolve issues. The Data Steward also supports key areas of the system such as the Child Protection-Information Sharing (CP-IS) process as well as statutory report analysis and problem resolution.
You will keep up-to-date with developments in social work practice and changes required by the DfE and Ofsted to enable you to plan for any impact on our data collection requirements. You will also produce management reports on current data quality and future developments. What you’ll need to succeed:
The ability to communicate with all stakeholders and provide support on an individual or group basis when required is essential to this role. Use of SQL based tools and a broad understanding of databases will be an advantage.
