The Pink Cottage Nursery

The Pink Cottage Nursery are looking to recruit a Childcare Practitioner to join our team caring for our youngest children (babies up to 3 years).

This position is full time time (37.5/40 hours per week) and a Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential. Hourly rate depending on age and experience.

The position will ideally start during July 2019.

YWorking as part of a team responsible for delivering and maintaining consistently high standards of care and education for children between the ages of 0-5 years.

Responsibility to promote a safe, secure, caring and fun environment for the children to enable opportunities for growth and development through play.

Responsibility for building close relationships with a key group of children and their families and for maintaining their learning and development records. This will be in accordance with the principles and requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Required to take a key role in the planning, organisation and implementation of high quality personalised learning experiences to help children achieve their full potential.

Expected to attend fortnightly/monthly staff meetings which are held at our setting on Friday’s between 5:00pm-6:00pm. This will form part of your contracted hours’.

The Pink Cottage Day Nursery is a small early years setting, set in a detached property on the Chichester Road in Selsey. Our nursery opened in 2009 and we are now a well established childcare provider that is dedicated to providing every child the best possible start in their early years education, and to supporting families every step of the way.

It is our priority to maintain consistently high standards of quality childcare within a homely environment and to put the needs of children and their families at the heart of everything we do. Developing strong relationships with parents and carers is paramount to the success of our setting, and to each child’s holistic growth and development.
